Paul Mirabel is in trouble in the new trailer for his Prime Video series
Six weeks before the premiere of his new show, the comedian has a slight problem: he has neither show nor archive footage for the documentary he sold to Amazon.
It’s discomfiture for Paul Mirabel.
In the new trailer for Paul, the series, the comedian finds himself faced with a problem as simple as it is insurmountable: he sold the recording of his next show and a documentary about his life to Amazon… even though he has hardly prepared anything. And the first performance is dangerously approaching.
“At almost 30 years old, Paul Mirabel has just sold the recording of his show AND a documentary about his life to Amazon. Problem: He spent more time on his PlayStation than writing his new show and has no archive footage, in short he lied. How far will this bluff take him? And add to that a youthful love that resurfaces, because a problem never comes alone…” details the synopsis.
This mise en abyme comedy is imagined by Paul Mirabel, who co-wrote it with Mourad Winter, Yoann Gromb and Nathanael Munnich. The latter also directs with Antoine de Bary. The series has 6 30-minute episodes and is produced by Iconozon, an Iconoclast company.
In the casting, Paul Mirabel notably opposite Abraham Wapler, Enya Baroux, Eva Huault and Marine Leonardi. After exploring the stage and multiplying his appearances on screen, the comedian this time moves to the serial format, having fun directly with his own image.
All six episodes of Paul, the series will be available on October 2, 2026, worldwide on Prime Video.
