The Good Place Creator Reunites Amy Poehler and Hugh Laurie in New Comedy: Trailer

Ten years after Parks and Recreation, Michael Schur reunites with Amy Poehler for an archaeological adventure comedy.

There are reunions that are pleasant.

Six years after the end of The Good Place and two years after A Man on the Inside on Netflix, prolific series creator Michael Schur returns with a new comedy.

And for the occasion he reunites with Amy Poehler, with whom he had already collaborated on Parks and Recreation. The trailer for Dig has just been revealed:

The actress plays Elise, a shadowy archaeologist who has worked for years alongside Neville, a famous British archaeologist played by ex Dr. House, Hugh Laurie. Despite his dedication to science and the transmission of his knowledge to new generations, he stubbornly refuses to retire. A situation which blocks Elise’s career prospects.

But everything changes when she unearths a rare artifact at a dig site in Greece. This discovery suddenly propels the young woman and her team into the heart of an international conspiracy, leading them into an adventure that goes well beyond the scope of their archaeological research.

Geraldine Viswanathan, Antonia Thomas and Fina Strazza complete the team of excavators.

With Dig, screenwriter Michael Schur reunites with Amy Poehler, whom he had already directed in Parks and Recreation, the cult comedy broadcast between 2009 and 2015. The screenwriter and producer is also known for having worked on The Office American version and co-created Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013-2021), before signing The Good Place (2016-2020) and more recently Old-fashioned Spy with Ted Danson.

Dig launches on November 23 on Peacock in the United States. No French broadcast date has yet been announced.
