Andrew Yancy will return to service next December.

Almost two and a half years later, he returns…

Vince Vaughn returns to the shoes of Andrew Yancy for season 2 of Bad Monkey, for which Apple TV revealed the trailer today. Still adapted from the world of writer Carl Hiaasen and created by Bill Lawrence (Ted Lasso, Shrinking), the series sets out again for a new story in ten episodes.

Synospis: “After witnessing the murder of a shadowy man, Andrew Yancy (Vaughn) finds himself flanked by a very tight-fisted expert to solve the crime. Eager to get his detective badge back, Yancy finds himself embroiled in a turf war between rival criminal organizations as he makes his way through a group of eccentrics including an erudite mafia boss, his unhinged son and a very young woman. Meanwhile, Yancy must deal with her elderly father; an indecisive romantic affair with Dr. Rosa Campensino who recklessly launches her own investigation; and a pompous animal relocation specialist whose business threatens the region’s environment.

Vince Vaughn will always be accompanied by Natalie Martinez. Charlotte Lawrence and John Ortiz complete the cast, while John Malkovich, Yvonne Strahovski and Zavior Phillips join this new adventure.

Bad Monkey season 2 will have ten episodes. The first will be available on Wednesday, December 2, 2026 on Apple TV, followed by a new episode every week until February 3, 2027.
