Grey’s Anatomy: a totally unexpected return will shake up season 22

It’s a comeback that even the fans didn’t see coming: Kate Walsh is putting on Addison Montgomery’s blouse again in Grey’s Anatomy.

The actress will make her comeback in the episode which will be broadcast on January 29, 2026 in the United States, entitled “Strip That Down”. As is often the case with ShondaLand, total secrecy remains surrounding the storyline.

A small event in any case, since Kate Walsh had not appeared for almost three years and season 19, after having made a remarkable return by recurring in seasons 18 and 19. Cult figure from the beginnings of Grey’s Anatomy, Derek’s ex-wife arrived in the middle of season 1 and shook up the MerDer couple before imposing herself until season 3 – Addison then navigated between a few lightning passages until season 8, while leading spin-off Private Practice for six seasons.
