The Night Agent: first teaser and date for season 3 on Netflix

Peter Sutherland resumes his mission.

Netflix revealed the teaser and announced the release date for season 3 of The Night Agent, its action series starring Gabriel Basso in the role of Peter Sutherland.

Release date: This season 3 of The Night Agent will be released on Netflix on February 19, 2026.

In the teaser, Peter enters a football stadium and finds his target, played by Suraj Sharma. “Do exactly as I tell you, and we’ll get out of here alive,” Peter says.
A car chase then ensues where he tries to escape two armed men on a motorcycle. The rest of the teaser highlights the ultra-nervous aspect of the series, including a scene where Peter snatches an enemy from the back of a moving truck.

In addition to Gabriel Basso, the returning cast for season 3 includes Amanda Warren (Catherine Weaves), Louis Herthum (Jacob Monroe), Fola Evans-Akingbola (Chelsea Arrington), Ward Horton (Governor Richard Hagan) and Albert Jones (Deputy Director Aiden Mosely).

Stephen Moyer, Suraj Sharma, Callum Vinson, David Lyons, Jennifer Morrison and Genesis Rodriguez join the series for this season 3.

Luciane Buchanan, who played Rose Larkin for two seasons, will not be back.

The synopsis for Season 3: “Following the explosive events of Season 2, night-time agent Peter Sutherland is called upon to track down a young Treasury agent who fled to Istanbul with sensitive government information after killing his boss. This sets off a series of events where Peter investigates a dark money ring while avoiding his hired assassins, putting him on a collision course with a relentless journalist. Together, they uncover buried secrets and old grudges that threaten to bring the government to its knees — and get them both killed.”
