Chris Pratt extends the Terminal List adventure on Prime Video with a new series
The actor will return to his character of James Reece in Savage Son, a new military thriller adapted from Jack Carr’s third novel. A project which could take the form of a spin-off rather than a third season.
James Reece hasn’t finished making the talk.
Chris Pratt will reprise his role as the former Navy SEAL in Savage Son, a new series developed for Prime Video, adapted from the third volume of the literary saga The Terminal List, by Jack Carr.
For the moment, Amazon has not specified whether this project would be considered a third season of The Terminal List or an independent spin-off. According to initial information, however, this second option would be the most likely.
Billed as a fast-paced military thriller, Savage Son will follow James Reece on his most personal and dangerous mission yet. On the program: military action, espionage and survival in a hostile environment, with an exploration of the fine line between civilization and wild instincts when survival becomes a personal matter.
The universe of The Terminal List already has two series. Launched in 2022, the original fiction saw its prequel arrive in 2025, The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, carried by Taylor Kitsch in the role of Ben Edwards, former member of the special forces turned CIA agent. The second season of the main series was put online on October 21, 2026.
“Jack Carr’s work has touched audiences thanks to the power of his stories and the incredible commitment of Chris Pratt and the entire team to each episode,” said Peter Friedlander, head of international television productions at Amazon MGM Studios. “The Terminal List franchise continues to meet its audience, and Savage Son will take this story into its most intense chapter yet.”
