The new Break prison unveils its cast!
With Emily Browning, Sucker Star Punch and American Gods, headlining.
Say goodbye to Michael Schofield and Lincoln Burrows! prison Break will now be without Wentworth Miller And Dominic Purcell. A new escape story is being written and it will be carried by Emily Browning,, Lukas Gage And Drake Rodger.
They will embody the main roles in this pilot, announced last December. As was reported above, the pilot takes place in the same universe as the original prison Breakbut will tell a new story with new characters. The precise details of the plot remain secret.
Browning will play Cassidy Collins, a “former soldier who became a security agent in one of the deadliest prisons in the United States”. Gage will play Jackson, a “politician from a wealthy environment, in the countryside for his first election in the congress”. Rodger, meanwhile, will perform Tommy, “a detainee in one of the deadliest prisons in the United States, incarcerated ten years ago”.
In all likelihood, it is therefore Drake Rodger which should try to escape … helped from the inside by Emily Browning ?
Rodger recently played in the prequel series of SupernaturalThe Winchesters and appeared in several episodes of the successful series Landman On Paramount+. Browning is known for its participation in American Godsshe who was revealed in the 2000s with the Sucker Punch by Zack Snyder. Pledge has become known in recent years thanks to its roles in White Lotus And Euphoriaand we saw it very recently at the cinema in Companion.
Elgin James writes and produces this reboot pilot, with Dawn Olmstead. The creator of prison BreakPaul Scheuring, will be executive producers. The pilot is planned for the 2025-2026 season, if it is validated by the Hulu platform (the series would then be to see on Disney more in France).
