The indoor film: Parthenope by Paolo Sorrentino

Paolo Sorrentino films the life of a woman, who crosses existence with grace and casualness. It is about beauty here, but not only. The Neapolitan filmmaker signs a new ode to his city, and places on the road to his tragic goddess a string of amazing characters (including Gary Oldman as an alcoholic and prophetic writer). Celeste Dalla Porta illuminates the screen in this tearing melodrama with sublime photography. An aesthetic and metaphysical manifesto that divides – as often with Sorrentino – but does not leave indifferent.

The series: Adolescence

Certainly one of the major series of the year 2025. Between chilling thriller and overwhelming drama, Adolescence Follows an ordinary British family faced with the accusations of murder that weighs on their 13 -year -old boy. Jamie is accused of having killed a classmate, but proclaims his innocence, plunging his family into an unspeakable nightmare. The series, carried by an immersive staging in sequence plans, explores childhood, parenting, the harmful influence of networks, with a rare intensity. Stephen Graham, in the role of the outdated father, offers an overwhelming performance, making this work visceral, deeply emotional and unforgettable.

The film in VOD: Juror n ° 2 by Clint Eastwood

There has often been a question of justice in Clint Eastwood’s cinema, and for his last achievement, he chose the highly codified genre of the trial film. Its malignant variation of 12 angry men is engaging, placing the spectators alongside a juror who thinks he is guilty of the crime at the heart of the judicial case for which he was selected. He dives Nicholas Hoult, and we, in the middle of a dilemma, questioning the justice of men as much as the myth of the American dream. With a certain energy, especially embodied by the always impeccable Toni Collette.

The classic: Amadeus of Miloš Forman

It is “the ultimate biopic”, according to our comrade Thomas Baurez, who writes here everything you need to know about Amadeus From Miloš Forman: a masterpiece, restored in 4K in a beautiful box, which manages to make realism and madness coincide, the perf actors and the author’s vision. The final film on the defeat of genius – eternally lonely in the face of mediocre and carpets. And music is not bad, either.
