After Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbor reunited in a new series

They were adopted father and daughter in Stranger Things, now they will play a father-daughter duo in the middle of a crisis in a new spy series. Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbor reunite in front of the camera for a thriller ordered directly by Netflix, written by Jack Thorne, the creator of Adolescence and screenwriter of the Enola Holmes films.
The series, still untitled, will follow Matt Wolfe, a former FBI agent turned security expert, forced to return to service when his daughter Rebecca, herself an FBI agent, disappears during a mission.
The A24 studio will be in production and Netflix is already promising a spy drama with a strong emotional dimension. “We are thrilled to bring this spy drama to life alongside a team of exceptional talents with whom we have already had the chance to collaborate,” enthuses Jinny Howe, head of series for the platform. “Jack Thorne’s talent for uncovering a deeply human story at the heart of a thriller is unmatched; as for the reunion of Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbor – this time in the roles of an estranged father and daughter, finding themselves on opposite sides of a crisis – audiences will love it. This reunion has all the more flavor as it comes a few months after rumors of tensions between the two stars. A Daily Mail article claimed last year that Millie Bobby Brown had filed a complaint with Netflix human resources against her acting partner during the filming of season 5 of Stranger Things. Information recently denied by the two actors, who assured that their “father-daughter” type relationship had never gone through a major crisis.
After ten years spent fighting the Upside Down, Eleven and Hopper are preparing to dive back together… this time into the world of espionage.
