All the 2026 Emmy nominations

The 78th Emmy Awards unveil its nominations, with The Pitt as the big favorite for his own succession.

The race for the 2026 Emmy Awards is on.

The 78th edition has just revealed its nominations, with a great domination of The Pitt, who establishes herself as one of the big favorites of the evening, well on her way to succeeding herself.

With 25 nominations, the medical drama is present in almost all major categories, notably with Noah Wyle in best actor and no less than four nominations for its supporting actresses. Behind, Hacks continues to prove his incredible longevity. The comedy landed 24 nominations for its final season and shattered the previous record for nominations for a comedy held by Schitt’s Crick until then. The surprise comes from Widow’s Bay, which made a remarkable entry with 19 nominations. The new Apple series stands out directly among the contenders. We also note the arrival of another new Apple product, Pluribus, which received 18 nominations. Vince Gilligan’s new creation is featured in the top categories, including a nomination for Rhea Seehorn. Also, Margo Has Money Problems has a big breakthrough with Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer and Nick Offerman.

As for mini-series and anthologies, the race is more competitive. DTF St. Louis (HBO) and Acharnés season 2 (Netflix) will fight for the trophies.

The main ceremony of the 2026 Emmys will be held on September 14, while the Creative Arts Emmy Awards will take place on September 5 and 6.
