Brigitte Bardot denies rumors of her death: “I’m fine!”

After an influencer shared her death on social networks, the 91-year-old star responded and assured that she had “no intention of bowing out”.

The legend of French cinema, aged 91, had to speak this Wednesday evening to put an end to a rumor that was growing on the web: that of his own death.

On X (formerly Twitter), an influencer, Aqababe – real name Aniss Zitouni – claimed that Brigitte Bardot had died. A few hours later, the icon replied dryly, visibly exasperated:

“I don’t know who the idiot is who launched this fake news this evening about my disappearance, but know that I’m fine and that I have no intention of bowing out. Word to the wise…”

Last week, those around her gave reassuring news: Brigitte Bardot had just returned home to Saint-Tropez, after a minor surgical procedure in Toulon. Nothing alarming, its secretariat then clarified.

But the 27-year-old influencer did not give up, assuring in a new message:

“I deleted my exclusive tweet concerning the death of Brigitte Bardot. She is not the one who manages her Twitter, you will see when the death is made official by the AFP.”

In the meantime, Brigitte Bardot is visibly continuing her convalescence between La Madrague and La Garrigue, her two Saint-Tropez refuges.
