Dutton Ranch renewed for season 2 after record start
The Yellowstone spin-off led by Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser has signed the biggest launch of an original series in the history of Paramount+.
The success of the Yellowstone universe cannot be denied. Paramount+ has just renewed Dutton Ranch for a season 2, just a few weeks after the series’ launch.
It must be said that the spin-off led by Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, who reprise their roles as Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, got off to a flying start. The series quite simply signed the biggest launch of an original creation in the history of Paramount+ and even rose to the top of Nielsen’s streaming audiences during its first week of operation.
Both a sequel and spin-off to Yellowstone, Dutton Ranch follows Beth and Rip as they attempt to leave the ghosts of Montana behind and settle in South Texas. But their dream of a new life is quickly compromised….
The series is created by Chad Feehan and executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, the man behind the incredible expansion of the Yellowstone universe, which has become one of the most lucrative television franchises in recent years.
Launched on May 15 on Paramount+, Dutton Ranch will broadcast the finale of its first season on July 3.
