Like Emma Stone, they shaved their heads for a film
The La La Land actress took the plunge for Yórgos Lánthimos. But she is not the only one to have dared to go under the clipper for the love of the 7th art. The exercise has even been quite common for half a century. Workforce review.
She has always had a reputation for fully immersing herself in her roles. Emma Stone even went to extreme lengths to Bugonia. To play her kidnapped character with all the necessary conviction, she went so far as to shave her head! But the actress revealed to PEOPLE that she had made one condition for director Yorgos Lanthimos: he had to shave his head too. “When I knew we were going to do this… I told Yorgos: ‘You’ll have to shave your head too, so that we can stand together.’ And he accepted.”she says before tempering: “It was cool… but not as cool as I imagined. My shaving was more dramatic: my hair was quite long, and his, not at all!“
Anyway, the American star makes a strong impression, with a shaved head, in Bugoniawhich has just been released. She joins a circle – not so closed – of stars who dared to go under the clipper for love of the 7th art. Small review of the workforce (non-exhaustive) in chronological order.
