Meghan Markle is resuming her acting career and should join one of the current English series

The Duchess of Sussex could return to film sets by joining The Gentlemen, Guy Ritchie’s series, season 2 of which will soon arrive on Netflix.

Harry returns to England. And Meghan with him. Almost 10 years after their marriage, in 2018, the American star of Suits will resume the thread of her acting career.

Meghan Markle is in discussions to join season 3 of The Gentlemen, one of the most popular English series of the moment. The information was confirmed by Variety, just hours after the first revelations about his potential return to comedy. Negotiations are in their early stages and no contract has yet been signed. Season 3 of The Gentlemen has not yet been officially ordered by Netflix.

Created by Guy Ritchie, the series stars Theo James in the role of an aristocrat and former soldier who inherits the vast family estate and discovers that it is home to a clandestine cannabis empire. The first season was a great success on Netflix, while the second is due to arrive on September 3.

The role that could be entrusted to Meghan Markle is currently kept secret. If her arrival is confirmed, it would be her first real role in a series since she left Suits in 2018.

This return to Netflix would also have a certain logic since Meghan and Prince Harry already have an agreement with the platform via their company Archewell Productions. The couple notably produced the documentaries Harry & Meghan and Heart of Invictus, while Meghan also launched her lifestyle show With Love, Meghan and her brand As Ever.

This possible new career comes especially a few days after the surprise announcement of the couple’s return to the United Kingdom with their two children for an extended period. After six years spent in California, Harry and Meghan are preparing to return to England.

And for Meghan, perhaps also the film sets.
