Mylène Farmer entrusts her new clip to the directors of Atomik Circus

Before her album at the end of October, the singer returns with a very cinematic clip from the Poiraud brothers.

After Whose turn is it?Mylène Farmer continues her comeback with Lols and whatssecond extract from his next album EGREGORE. Released last night, the single is now accompanied by its music video, posted online this Friday. And for this new video, the artist turned to two filmmakers well known to fans of genre cinema, Thierry and Didier Poiraud.

The duo, who worked together for a long time under the name of the Poiraud brothers, particularly stood out with Atomik Circus, the return of James Batailletheir feature film released in 2004 with Vanessa Paradis, Benoît Poelvoorde and Jean-Pierre Marielle. A crazy cinematic object, between comedy, science fiction and B series, which remains their most emblematic film.

Thierry Poiraud then continued his career in genre cinema with Goal of the Deadof which he directed the second part, then Alone. He has also worked for television, notably on the series White Zone And Infiniti.

With Lols and whatsthe Poirauds succeed Julia Ducournau, who had directed the music video for Whose turn is it?. For this new piece, the Poiraud tandem this time seizes the codes of the heist film. With a particularity since rather than a bank, the heist takes place in a library. The atmosphere is obviously largely inspired by Orwell’s novel, 1984.

The album EGREGORE by Mylène Farmer is expected on October 30. A few days before, the disc will also be the subject of a unique experience at the cinema, on October 27.
