The platform has just signed a historic deal with the two toy giants.
Monster success of the summer on the platform, KPop Demon Hunters continues to invade the real world.
Netflix has just announced a historic partnership with Mattel and Hasbro – two rival toy giants – to launch a full range of merchandise based around its hit musical animated film.
Both brands have been designated as co-master licensees, an industry first. From spring 2026, fans will be able to discover dolls, figurines, plush toys, board games, accessories and collectible products inspired by the world of KPop Demon Hunters.
Mattel will notably offer a series of Huntr/x dolls for pre-sale from November 12 on Mattel Creations, before their official release in 2026. For its part, Hasbro is planning an equally varied collection, including interactive plush toys, electronic products and role-playing games. The firm will launch a Monopoly Deal: KPop Demon Hunters on January 1, 2026, sold at $12.99 and already available for pre-order on Amazon, Target and Walmart.
So there will be toys KPop Demon Hunters under the tree, in 2025, and certainly again in 2026!
This massive deployment of merchandising comes as the film — released on June 20 — became the most watched feature film in Netflix history, with more than 325 million views in 91 days. Recall that the first product derived from KPop Demon Huntersnamely its soundtrack, ranked first on the Billboard 200, and exceeded 8.3 billion streams, while the single golden established itself as the longest number 1 for a girl band in the 21st century.
A few weeks before Christmas, Netflix intends to capitalize: the five heroines of the film are already among the most sought-after costumes of the year for Halloween!
