After the United States and Canada, France is undergoing a new increase in prices of Netflix. Donald Trump’s customs duties are not (yet) in question. This new price readjustment has been in pipes for a while. Besides, the streaming giant regularly increases its entry right. The rate jumped 67 % in 11 years, calculated Le Figarowho obtained the letter to the shareholders who justify this increase:
“As we bring more value to members, we refine our plans and our prices in order to improve monetization and stimulate investment in future improvements in services. The recent pricing adjustments that we have made on the major markets (notably the United States, the United Kingdom and Argentina) were in line with our expectations. Today, we adjust prices in France, which had already been taken into account in our forecasts for 2025. ”
