Number 456 returns to the game in the first teaser for Squid Game, season 2

Netflix announces the start of the new part for December.

“Welcome to the 456 players, who are ready for the starting gun… Are they really ready for what awaits them?”

Netflix has just released a brand new trailer for season 2 of Squid Game. A new short 30-second video, which confirms that Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) will indeed return to the island, to play a new game. We remember that in the season 1 finale, the only survivor of the Squid GameGi-hun had gone home, ready to resume his life. But as he heads to Los Angeles to see his daughter, he rips out a new business card, dials the number and announces his intention to find out who the madmen behind the game are. We understand from this teaser that he will put on his tracksuit a second time, still wearing the number 456, to return to play in the deadly arena.

“Three years after winning Squid GamePlayer 456 remains determined to find the people behind the game and put an end to their vicious sport. But when his efforts finally bear fruit, the path to the organization’s downfall proves deadlier than he imagined: to end the game, he must return to it.” insists the synopsis.

Squid Gameseason 2, will be available on Netflix on December 26 and will be followed by a third and final season in 2025.
