It is via a press release as long as an arm that the organizers of Mania Series announced the good news: among the guests of honor of this new edition, series fans who will be in Lille from March 15 to 22 will be able to attend a masterclass in the presence of Patricia Arquette. The American actress will be present on Thursday March 21 at 4:30 p.m. in the room “New century”.

Born into a family of actors (her grandfather Cliff Arquette was the star of the series Dave and Charley, sher father was actor Lewis Arquette, and her siblings – Rosanna, Richmond, David and her late sister Alexis all followed the same path), Patricia Arquette has had success on both the small and big screen.

At 55, Patricia Arquette is preparing her first feature film as a director: Gonzo Girl will be worn by Willem Dafoe, Camila Morrone and Ray Nicholson, based on the bestselling novel by Cheryl Della Pietra.
During her career, she also worked for better gender equality, notably denouncing the significant salary differences in Hollywood during her speech at the Oscars. After losing her mother to breast cancer and her sister to AIDS, she invited the public to participate in screening campaigns. She also defends the rights of LGBTQ people, and more generally civil rights, agreeing for example to speak at the UN to share her humanist ideas.
