The Alaskan night always catches up with you eventually. The final trailer for season 4 of True Detective unveils new, never-before-seen footage from Night Country. A frosty investigation where the veteran Jodie Foster willingly joins forces with a young policewoman. After several trailers, we’re starting to get a good idea of the frosty thriller atmosphere that awaits us in this comeback of the crime anthology.
True Detective: Night Country will be released on Monday January 15, 2024 in France on Prime Video via the Warner Pass, 24 hours after its American broadcast on HBO.
Made up of six episodes, it will feature Jodie Fosterinvestigator alongside Kali Reis. “As a long winter night falls on the town of Ennis, Alaska, the eight men in charge of the Tsalal Arctic research station disappear without a trace” reveals the synopsis. “To solve this case, the Detectives Liz Danvers (Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Reis) will have to overcome their own demons and probe the eternal ice in search of the deepest secrets.
Finn Bennett, Fiona Shaw and Christopher Eccleston complete the cast.
