Spider-Punk: a new animated spin-off in preparation in the Spider-Ver

Daniel Kaluuya will resume his anarchist weaver from the electric guitar, crossed in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Ver in 2023.

The multiverse of the weaver is still growing. Sony Pictures Animation is currently developing Spider-Punk, a new animated film derived from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Ver (2023)

The project is carried out by Daniel Kaluuya-who already lent his voice to the character in the second part-and Ajon Singh, with whom he co-written this spin-off centered on this Spider-Man Punk-Rock version, alias Hobie Brown.

Still at its beginnings, the project has not yet revealed the details of its intrigue, but should follow the solo adventures of this anarchist spider-punk, whose main weapon is none other than its guitar. Noticed character in Across The Spider-Ver, Hobie Brown will also return to the highly anticipated Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Ver, third part of the animated trilogy supervised by Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Amy Pascal, who will also produce Spider-Punk.

No release date has yet been announced for Spider-Punk, but Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, was expected in theaters on June 25, 2027. The film will resume where Across the Spider-Verse was interrupted, with a fugitive miles, fighting to save his family in a multiverse in the middle of chaos.

Since 2018, Spider-Verse’s films have met with critical and massive public success: Into the Spider-Ver has brought back $ 384 million worldwide, winning the Oscar for the best animated film, while Across The Spider-Ver was culminated at 690 million dollars at the World Box-Office.
