The Batman 2: Robert Pattinson promises a “very different” film

While filming will soon begin, the actor in turn praises Matt Reeves’ script…

While he appears unrecognizable in the trailer for Dune 3 and that in the coming weeks he will be on display in The Drama (A24) alongside Zendaya, then Die my Lovealongside Jennifer Lawrence, Robert Pattinson gave news of The Batman 2.

Good news, the project is progressing well and the actor has confirmed that filming will begin.in a month or two”seriously restarting the machine around the sequel to Matt Reeves’ film, released in 2022. But above all, Robert Pattinson was particularly enthusiastic about the direction taken by this new opus:

“The script is extraordinary. I think it’s going to be a really, really special and very, very different film…”

Without revealing the slightest element of the plot, Robert Pattinson insists on the ambition of the project: “It will be interesting to see the result. The film takes real risks.”

We understand that Matt Reeves does not intend to replay the same score. After a first dark film, sticky and very anchored in a realistic aesthetic, this sequel could well broaden the spectrum. Colin Farrell, unrecognizable as Penguin, said the same thing in the podcast Happy Sad Confuseda few weeks ago, proclaiming: “I had a lot to say to Matt about the script. Honestly, I think it’s a masterpiece. A contemporary masterpiece of genre cinema.”

Still developed by Warner Bros., The Batman Part II is currently scheduled for October 1, 2027 in theaters.
