To see his face or Superman’s cousin in costume, we’ll have to wait a little longer. But James Gunn gently raises the sauce around Supergirl. He has just revealed the very first official photo showing Milly Alcock on the set of the new DC movie.

The actress of House of the Dragon will put himself in Kara’s shoes. But what this photo reveals above all is the official logo of the film Supergirl future.

In his message, Gunn also praised the director Craig Gillespie. He writes: “I’m excited to see the cameras rolling at Warner Bros. Because the film will be adapted from the comics Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrowby King, Evely and Nogueira. He will follow Supergirl Who “travels across the galaxy to celebrate his 21st birthday with Krypto the Superdog. Along the way, she meets a young woman named Ruthye and finds herself on a deadly quest for revenge.

Eve Ridley was cast as Ruthye. The cast also includes Matthias Schoenaerts as the villainous Krem of the Yellow Hills and Jason Momoa in that of Lobo.

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow will be released in the United States in theaters on June 26, 2026. The film will be the second feature film in James Gunn and Peter Safran’s upcoming DCU after Superman in 2025, in which she is expected to make a first appearance.
