The Boys: the very exciting trailer for the final season

A last stand for Butcher and his gang against an all-powerful Homelander… See you in April.

The end is near for The Boys. But the series won’t go away without a fight…

Prime Video has confirmed that the first two episodes of season 5 will premiere on Wednesday, April 8. The rest will be broadcast at the rate of one episode per week, until the finale scheduled for May 20. And along the way, we discover a crazy first trailer for this final season of The Boys (see below).

According to the official synopsis, this final chapter follows a world now totally subject to the erratic and egomaniacal whims of Homelander.

“This is the Protector’s world, entirely subject to his erratic and megalomaniacal whims. Hughie, Cream and the Frenchman are imprisoned in a “Freedom Camp”. Annie desperately tries to lead a resistance against the overwhelming force of the Supers. Kimiko remains nowhere to be found. But when Butcher reappears, ready to use a virus capable of erasing all Supers from the face of the Earth, he sets off a series of events that will change the world forever and everyone who lives there.”

The video shows an overview of this correction camp, made in Homelander.

We also see the superhero massacring someone, while he keeps his “father”, Soldier Boy, in a fridge at home. Jensen Ackles will be back. And with him, Eric Kripke brings back the entire trio from his previous successful series, Supernatural: Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins take their first steps in this trailer.

But the real stars of this trailer are obviously the Boys. Led by Karl Urban, the troupe will unite one last time with Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso and Karen Fukuhara.
