The new Ingalls Family Reunit: First images of the Reboot of the Petite Maison in La Prairie by Netflix

The cast, gathered for the first time, started production. Filming, in costumes, is soon!

It’s official: Netflix has launched the production of its new version of The little house in the meadow. And to celebrate the start of filming, the platform unveiled the very first photos of the full cast, bringing together the new faces of the Ingalls family.

Inspired by semi-autobiographical books written by Laura Ingalls Wilder During the great depression, The little house in the meadow retraces the author’s childhood in the American midwest, between 1872 and 1894. Already adapted to a cult series broadcast from 1974 to 1983 on NBC, this new incarnation promises to be both “A family tragedy with hope, an epic survival story and an original story of the conquest of the West”according to Netflix.

At the heart of history: Laura Ingallsa young pioneer under construction of his identity, while his family travels the vast land of America in search of a new life.
