Vincent must die: the French horror film will be entitled to its American remake

Noted at Cannes in 2023 for its extraordinary narrative style, the French horror film Vincent must diewill cross the Atlantic.
This thriller, as absurd as it is brutal, in which a man is suddenly attacked by everyone who meets his gaze, will be entitled to an American remake entrusted to David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, screenwriter of the two films Aquaman but also several films in the saga Conjuringand many episodes of The Walking Dead. A specialist in the genre who will direct his first feature film with this adaptation of the film by Stéphan Castang.
In Vincent must diewe follow Vincent, an uneventful graphic designer whose life is turned upside down when strangers and even his colleagues brutally begin to attack him as soon as they look into his eyes. Faced with this mysterious epidemic of violence, he must flee, hide and completely reinvent his way of living.
Starring Karim Leklou in the title role, the film won over international critics, notably with 93% positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.
This new version will be produced by the Atomic Monster branch of Blumhouse.
