The Legendaries are coming to the cinema: the trailer for the animated film
Patrick Sobral’s comic strip becomes an epic cinematic adventure.
They left their mark on an entire generation of readers and viewers: The Legendaries finally the big screen is available.
After the animated series broadcast in 2017 on TF1, the heroes created by Patrick Sobral return in an epic cinematic adventure for which the first trailer has just been revealed (below).
“The Legendaries, intrepid adventurers, were the greatest heroes of their time. But following a terrible curse, they become again… 10 year old children! Danaël, Jadina, Gryf, Shimy and Razzia will combine their powers to defeat the sorcerer Darkhell and free their planet from eternal childhood…” details the synopsis.
Directed by Guillaume Ivernel (Dragon Hunters), the film is produced by Pan Européenne. The music is by Cécile Corbel, an inspired composer already known for her collaborations with Studio Ghibli.
On the vocal side, Roman Doduik lends his voice to Danaël, Esthèle Dumand to Jadina, and Élise Tilloloy to Shimy.
The feature film adapts the first two volumes of the cult comic strip, but its author promises “an original work”, designed as a rereading faithful to the spirit of the saga while exploring new territories.
Released on January 28, 2026 in cinemas.
