Will there be a Loki season 3 before Avengers: The Kang Dynasty?
The production does not close the door to continuing the series, on Disney Plus.
It’s a successful conclusion. Loki, season 2, completed its space-time arc in a shocking way, which will inevitably have repercussions on the rest of the MCU. But will there be a season 3 of Loki ?
A priori, there is no official indication that the series is over. And Kevin Wright executive producer, confirms to us that a sequel is entirely possible!
“The ending is open! We imagined season 1 and season 2 of Loki together, like chapters of the same book”, he explains to Première. “So, we ended season 1 with a cliffhanger and we wanted to give it a final resolution with season 2, without beating around the bush, without torturing the spectators indefinitely.
Nevertheless, Kevin Wright ensures that other seasons of Loki are possible:
“In doing so, we sowed lots of little seeds for possible future stories in the future. So yes, this book Loki is finished, but I have a shelf full of books from Loki possible, if we want to do a season 3 with this character and in this TVA universe”.
It remains to be seen whether this can be done before the next film. Avengers (planned for 2026 and 2027), where the new God of the Multiverse should take a central place.
