Morgan Freeman and Nicole Kidman become central characters in the series, warning of the approaching threat.

Zoe Saldaña returns to service in season 2 of Lioness, in the shoes of Joe, head of the Lioness section of the CIA – a real program of the intelligence agency and the American army. Her goal?
