Ramzy Bedia joins Assassin’s Creed on Netflix

The French actor will play a recurring role in the major series adaptation currently in development.

Two years after Silver and Blood on Canal+, Ramzy Bedia returns to the small screen for a new series of international scope.

The American press announces that Eric Judor’s sidekick is joining the big-budget Assassin’s Creed series currently in production for Netflix.

The French actor will share the bill with Noomi Rapace, revealed by the Millennium saga and seen in Prometheus, as well as with Sean Harris, known for his roles in Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and Mission: Impossible – Fallout. Italian actor Corrado Invernizzi, seen in Indiana Jones and the Clock of Destiny, also completes this new wave of casting.

The four actors will appear in recurring roles, details of which are currently being kept secret.

Adapted from the famous video game franchise, the series is presented as a high-intensity thriller centered on the secret war between two shadowy factions: one determined to control and manipulate the future of humanity, the other ready to do anything to preserve free will. The plot will follow several characters through different historical periods, as they fight to influence the fate of the world.

Toby Wallace will play the main character. The actor seen in The Bikeriders, and expected as the new face of season 3 of Euphoria, will return to Netflix, six years after his performance in the mysterious teen series The Society. Details about his role are still under wraps, but according to Deadline, he will play one of the main protagonists of Assassin’s Creed. The series will focus on “the secret war between two dark factions – one seeking to determine the future of humanity through control and manipulation, the other fighting to preserve free will. The series will follow its characters through major historical events, as they compete to shape the destiny of humanity.”

The series will be produced by showrunners Roberto Patino and David Wiener, alongside Gerard Guillemot, Margaret Boykin, Austin Dill and Genevieve Jones for Ubisoft Film & Television.

Filming is expected to begin in 2026 in Italy. No release date yet.

Since its debut in 2007, the Assassin’s Creed franchise has sold more than 230 million copies worldwide.
