A Horror Cinema Legend Joins Season 2 of Dexter: Resurrection
The famous Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th saga will haunt the streets of New York against Dexter Morgan…
The casting of Dexter: Resurrection continues to turn into a nightmare…
And this time, the series offers itself a true legend of the genre: Kane Hodder, absolute icon of horror cinema, joins season 2 currently filming in New York. The announcement was made by writer and executive producer Scott Reynolds, with a message that sets the tone: “We couldn’t resist. We cast Kane Hodder and let fate do the rest.”

It must be said that the actor’s CV speaks for itself.
Hodder is the only one to have played Jason Voorhees four times in the Friday the 13th saga. He also lent his disturbing presence to Leatherface in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III, in 1990, without forgetting his cult role as Victor Crowley in the franchise Butcher: The Legend of Victor Crowley.
For now, his character remains a secret. But let’s be honest: it’s hard to imagine him not playing a serial killer. Especially since this season 2 seems to want to pile up the monsters, all linked to the mysterious society led by Leon Prater (played by Peter Dinklage) marking season 1.
Brian Cox will also be there to play the New York Ripper, a retired but still toxic serial killer, while Dan Stevens will play the Five Borough Killer, who harasses the police with chilling calls. And Uma Thurman will also be back!
Filming began on April 13 in New York. This season 2 of Dexter: Resurrection is already shaping up to be an all-star serial killer game. No release date yet.
