The prequel to the hit Prime Video series, scheduled for 2027, reveals its first images.

The origins of Soldier Boy!

While The Boys has just ended, the franchise continues with a new spin-off series, which will go back in time, to tell the origins of Vought and the first Supes in New York in the 1950s.

The first images of Vought Rising show Soldier Boy, still played by Jensen Ackles, donning his hero costume for the first time, while scientists from the sinister Sage Grove psychiatric center – already seen in The Boys – experiment with injections intended to give powers to human beings. The trailer also reveals the first alliance between Soldier Boy and Stormfront. Actress Aya Cash will return to the cast.

The spin-off cast will also bring back Mason Dye, who will return to play Bombsight, introduced in the final episodes of season 5.

Elizabeth Posey will play a Super nurse called Private Angel, while Will Hochman will play Torpedo.

Behind the camera, Paul Grellong will serve as showrunner and executive producer. Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are also on the production team.

Vought Rising is expected in 2027 on Prime Video.
