The platform has just revealed the first trailer forEnola Holmes 3new chapter in the adventures of Sherlock Holmes’ little sister.
In this third opus, Enola leaves London for a new investigation in Malta. According to the official synopsis, its “personal and professional ambitions collide in a matter more complex and perilous than ever.”
We understand from the video that Lord Tewkesbury is going to propose to Enola, to his great surprise. But on the day of the ceremony, the young detective will learn terrible news: Sherlock has been kidnapped. The wedding will wait. So she goes on a mission to try to save her brother.
Henry Cavill will be back as Sherlock Holmes, as will Helena Bonham Carter, Louis Partridge, Himesh Patel and Sharon Duncan-Brewster.
To direct, Netflix this time entrusted the film to Philip Barantini, who came to sign the four episodes in sequence shots ofAdolescencewhile Jack Thorne returns to the screenplay.
Enola Holmes 3 will be released on July 1, 2026 on Netflix.
