The President of Rick and Morty gets his own series: trailer

It’s called President Curtis and will be visible this summer on HBO Max.

When season 9 of Rick and Morty ends on July 26, fans of animated madness will have something to comfort themselves: a new spin-off will be launched immediately, on July 27, on HBO Max in France: President Curtis.

As his name suggests, the President of the United States who must deal with Rick Sanchez – very inspired by Barack Obama – will be entitled to live his own crazy SF adventures.

“Set in the Rick and Morty universe, the President Curtis series stars Keith David alongside Stephanie Beatriz (Twisted Metal) and Jim Rash (Community). It follows President Andre Curtis (David) and his eccentric team as they face crises that Rick Sanchez would never bother to deal with, from interdimensional diplomacy to paranormal investigations to unexplained phenomena.”

Harmon and Siciliano also serve as executive producers on President Curtis, alongside Danielle Uhlarik, Monica Mitchell and Steve Levy.

The trailer unveiled at the Annecy Festival promises to send the trio on a mission to manage interdimensional crises. Watch below:
