Jamel Debbouze is preparing a Murders in… Trappes for France 3

He is one of the most famous representatives of the commune of Yvelines and he will pay tribute to him in a new opus of the France Télévisions police collection.

After temporarily slowing down the production of its detective anthology, due to budget cuts imposed on France Télévisions, France 3 is slowly relaunching filming of its successful collection Meurtres à… And one of the next destinations will be Trappes!

In an interview with Le Parisien, Anne Holmes, creative director of the France Télévisions group, revealed:

“It’s starting slowly again. We will have Murders in Trappes, which Jamel Debbouze is preparing, filmed next September.”

Originally from the town of Yvelines (where Omar Sy also comes from), Jamel Debbouze is still very attached to his native town. This new opus of the famous collection of detective TV films will be produced by Kissman Productions. It is still unclear whether the actor and director will only develop the project or whether he will also appear in front of the camera.

Note that France 3 is also preparing another new one, Murders in Montceau-les-Mines, with Julia Vignali in the casting.
