Stephen Graham will be in the cast of Michael Mann’s Heat 2

The British actor should notably reunite with Leonardo DiCaprio in this sequel to the 1995 classic.

Expected for several months to join Heat 2Stephen Graham has indeed made a place for himself within the prestigious cast of Michael Mann’s film, according to Variety. The actor recently won an Emmy Award for his performance in Adolescence should portray a young version of Neil McCauley, played by Robert De Niro (of whom he is a big fan) in the original 1995 film.

His role has not yet been officially confirmed, nor has the rest of the cast, but he should reunite with Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale, Adam Driver, Jason Clarke and Odessa Young in this highly anticipated sequel. Bale would play Vincent Hanna (Al Pacino) and DiCaprio would play Val Kilmer’s character, Chris Shiherlis.

Revealed in 2000 in SnatchStephen Graham has seen his career reach a new milestone in recent months. After the success of the series Adolescence (on Netflix) and A Thousand Blows (on Disney Plus), he is currently in Venice to present the new film by Floran Zeller, Bunkerwhere he shares the bill with Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem. And we will find him in October in the Apple TV series Nocturnal. Let us also remember that it had already been directed by Michael Mann in Public Enemies (2009).

Heat 2 is an adaptation of the novel written by Michael Mann and published in 2022. The story is both a prequel and a sequel to Heat.
