Poll: who would you like to see in the new James Bond costume?
The race for the next 007 is entering its home stretch. Four actors would still be in the running to succeed Daniel Craig… But you? Who would you choose?
Who will be the next 007?
Since the departure of Daniel Craig, the question has agitated fans of the saga and fueled rumors. But the casting of James Bond 26 finally seems to be approaching its conclusion: Amazon MGM Studios would have organized this weekend a final audition session with the four candidates still in the running.
Three names have leaked, without official confirmation: Jack Lowden, discreet hero of the successful spy series Slow HorsesCallum Turner, revealed in Fantastic Beasts and seen in Masters of the Air or Josh O’Connor, Prince Charles of The Crown seen recently at Spielberg in Disclosure Day.
The identity of the fourth actor still in the running is still unclear. In recent months, several actors have been linked to the role, including Jacob Elordi, Australian star of‘Euphoria among others, but also Harris Dickinson crossed in Babygirl facing Nicole Kidman, but also Louis Partridge, lead of the series House of Guinness by Steven Knight (incidentally screenwriter of the next 007 film) and even Jack O’Connell, terror of 28 years later and of Sinners.
The next episode of the saga will be directed by Denis Villeneuve, to whom Amazon MGM Studios has entrusted the reins of the franchise, on a script by Steven Knight, the creator of Peaky Blinders. Filming of this 26th James Bond is expected in 2027, with a theatrical release planned for 2028.
So who will inherit the famous tuxedo, the license to kill and the martini shaker?
