“You will never recognize them!” After LOL: who laughs, gets out! Loris Giuliano presents Masquerade.
No, it’s not the crazy casting of a new adaptation of Victor Hugo for the big screen.
After LOL: whoever laughs, gets out!Prime Video is launching a new event format called Masquerade.
Under the leadership of Loris Giuliano, the show brings together François Damiens, Marina Foïs, Laurent Lafitte, Géraldine Nakache, Pierre Niney, Raphaël Quenard, Alison Wheeler and Jean-Pascal Zadi. Everyone shows up at Loris Giuliano’s big birthday party. For the occasion, these eight personalities of French cinema will be completely transformed physically and vocally thanks to innovative technologies. Their mission: to be the last person to be unmasked by Mr. Loris before daybreak.
Imagined by Tom Aguilar and Loris Giuliano, who also co-wrote it, this unique French creation is produced by Mediawan Prod HOT. It will consist of six 45-minute episodes.
Prime Video clarifies the concept: “Loris Giuliano (1.9 million subscribers on YouTube) invites you to join Masquerade, his big birthday party during which he will have to guess which French cinema stars are hiding behind his guests. François Damiens, Marina Foïs, Laurent Lafitte, Géraldine Nakache, Pierre Niney, Raphaël Quenard, Alison Wheeler and Jean-Pascal Zadi will arrive at this evening with only one mission: to be the last to be unmasked by Loris before daybreak to win the game… But they too do not know who is hiding behind these one-night stand characters and they will have to show imagination to protect their own identity and stay in the race until the end of this incredible birthday! Because this evening organized by Alfredo, Loris’s butler, has many surprises in store for them. From revelations to betrayals, they are about to discover that what was only a birthday party will become an extraordinary gaming experience that will push them to exceed all their limits.”
Masquerade will be available on Prime Video from November 20.
