Percy Jackson: the trailer for season 3 announces a war between the gods and the Titans
Percy and his friends face the forces of Kronos in this third season adapted from The Fate of the Titan.
The war between the gods and the Titans is brewing.
Disney+ has just unveiled a new trailer for season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which promises to increase the pressure around the young demigod and his companions. On the program: new monsters, fragile alliances and a perilous quest to save Annabeth.
This new season adapts The Fate of the Titan, the third novel in the saga imagined by Rick Riordan. When Annabeth Chase is captured by Kronos’ forces, Percy must go looking for her.
The trailer opens with Percy aware of the scale of the threat:
“War is looming between the gods and the Titans. And if we want to survive it, we must join forces!”
We then discover his alliance, which is strained to say the least, with Thalia, while they try to save children who do not yet know they are demigods. The trailer also introduces Nico and Bianca di Angelo, the children of Hades. But while the group seeks to help them, Luke’s forces manage to capture Annabeth. Percy then has only one idea in mind: find Luke and stop him. Kate McKinnon will make her debut as Aphrodite, Ming-Na Wen will play Hera, Jennifer Beals will play Demeter and Hubert Smielecki will play Apollo.
The synopsis details: “Percy’s future has never been so uncertain: faced with the sudden disappearance of Annabeth and the Great Prophecy revealed by the Oracle of Delphi, on which the very destiny of Olympus depends, the young demigod will have to face decisive choices. According to this prophecy, a demigod child from one of the “Big Three” is destined either to lead Olympus towards a new golden age, or to precipitate his fall, at the risk of his own life.”
Season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians will begin on November 20, 2026 on Disney+ with two episodes. Two new episodes will then be posted online each week, until the finale scheduled for December 11.
