Wednesday season 2: the biblical trailer for part 2
What will happen next? The first of the four episodes to come … with the participation of Lady Gaga.
“If I’m not dead, why are you there?” Lance Weems. “Because I am your new spiritual guide. Surprise!”
The trailer of the last four episodes of Wednesday’s part 2 reveals the unexpected return of a character adored by fans: the main weekend (embodied by Gwendoline Christie), yet died in the end of season 1.
We see Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) wake up on the coma in which she sank after Tyler (Hunter Doohan) threw her out the window of the Psychiatric Hospital of Willow Hill. Dressed as a nurse, weekends welcomes her with a jovial “standing, marmot! Ready for your toilet in the towel?”. Then asculates in a dreamlike setting: a clearing crossed by a door that does not lead anywhere and dominated by a gigantic Gorgon head serving as a fireplace.
Further on, Wednesday ends up admitting to Enid (Emma Myers) that she is in danger, after having held her away throughout the first part. She explains that Tyler plans to kill them both, but that she will fix it. “Arrange this? It is because of you that he escaped,” retorts Enid. Weems then appears to prove it to the latter … except that in IDS does not see it.
And if Lady Gaga does not appear on the screen, it is a voice that seems to be his who closes the trailer, by dropping a final warning: “Be careful, there will be a price to pay.”
