A new western in the country of oil by Taylor Sheridan: trailer

Paramount+’s Landman series will star Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore.

He never stops exploring the American Midwest from every angle. Taylor Sheridan file to Texas after Montana (Yellowstone) or Oklahoma (Tulsa King). His new series, Landmanwill talk about the “brutes and wild billionaires trying to get rich quick in the oil business. Tommy Norris, a crisis executive, tries to take his company to the top during an oil boom.”

Billy Bob Thornton will be at the helm of this drama that will smell of dollars, blood and oil, judging by the very intense trailer that has just been released (see below). Opposite him, we will find Demi Moorebut also Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, Jacob Loflandas well as Jon Hamm, Andy Garcia And Michael PeñaL.

In this modern western, Taylor Sheridan will tell the ruthless world of oil derricks (isn’t it?) Dallas ?) in the heart of the famous “boomtowns” of West Texas. Inspired by the 11-episode podcast Boomtown from Imperative Entertainment and Texas Monthly, the series will chronicle the lives of the workers who risk their lives to practice “the most dangerous job in the world”“while billionaires will push for exploitation,”participating in a revolution so important that it will change our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.”

Landman will be launched on November 18 in France on Paramount+ with two episodes then a new episode every Monday (10 episodes in total). The series will also be visible to Canal + subscribers.
