Brad Pitt takes over Cliff Booth: a promising new trailer

The New Misadventures of Cliff Booth will be released just before Christmas on Netflix.

“Do you know the story of the stuntman who derailed Bruce Lee?“

Brad Pitt is back to play Cliff Booth, and the new trailer – released today by Netflix – has fun right from the start with the memorable scene of Once upon a Time in Hollywood.

It ends with a magnificent little tackle on Leonardo DiCpario: “Why don’t I work with Rick Dalton anymore? Because he got too big for me to continue doing his lining!“

This seems to say a lot about the very sarcastic tone of this sequel directed by David Fincher on a screenplay by Quentin Tarantino, which will have a blast in a totally assumed 70’s atmosphere, judging by this video. Because “this time, direction 1977, in a very different Hollywood” warns Netflix.

Also starring are Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Peter Weller.

From its new title The New Misadventures of Cliff Boot, the film will be available on Netflix from December 23, 2026.
