Cabourg 2025- The triumph of attachment, love is overused and apocalypse love
The films of Carine Tardieu, Mourad Winter and Anne Emond were the big winners of a festival which prevails the best romantic films of the past year and the coming months
Full rooms, a notice of violent thunderstorms which finally turned into simple big rains, a joyful atmosphere … The 39th edition of the romantic days of Cabourg was faithful to its reputation as a place of reception of all cinemas (which allows the theme of romanticism) and warm meetings between the different teams of films and talents around a piano bar towards which all converge after midnight French song
But Cabourg is also a record that is divided into two parts. On the one hand the Golden Swann, awarded by a jury of film professionals who reward the best romantic films of the past year. On the other, a jury chaired by Guillaume Gallienne instructed him to award his Grand Prix among the films in competition which will be released in the weeks and months to come
