Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is paid a prestigious casting casting straight from TV series

This is us, the Sabrina star and this good old bad boy from Walking Dead.

The next Call of Duty Promises a nourished fire … of stars!

Revealed at the end of the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, Black ops 7 mark a historic turning point for cult franchise: for the first time, two components Black Ops are linked without interruption, less than a year after Black ops 6.

But that’s not all. This new iteration, scheduled for 2035, plays the card of futuristic psychological thriller with a casting straight out of the best American series. At the head of the resistance: Milo Ventimiglia (This is us),, Kiernan Shipka (Mad Men,, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) and the veteran Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead), back in his cult role of Mike Harper.

Trailer:

Milo Ventimiglia will play David Mason, son of Alex Mason and well known face of fans since Black Ops 2. Exit the look of the past: the character has been subtly designed to stick more at the appearance of the actor. “An emblematic character, and a favorite fan,” says Tyler Bahl, marketing director at Activision.

Faced with him (or by his side?), Emma Kagan, a formidable CEO at the head of a mysterious organization baptized The Guild. The role is entrusted to Kiernan Shipkathat Bahl describes as “Red Hot Right Now”. With her freezing charisma and her rise in the world of series, she promises to explode everything.

Finally, Michael Rooker resumes his role as Mike Harper, absent since Black ops 2. A reappearance that risks electrifying the nostalgic for the series.

The story of Black ops 7 promises to be dense and destabilizing. The world, ravaged by armed conflicts and a hidden psychological warfare, vacillates on its foundations. David Mason and his team are projected at the heart of a confrontation against an invisible enemy, which uses fear as the main weapon. In this future where technology has replaced confidence, paranoia is queen.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be released on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC (Steam, Battle.net, Xbox PC). The game will also be available as soon as it is released via Game Pass Ultimate And PC Game Pass.
