Cat’s Eyes: the shooting of season 2 will start next May

The live action series made an audience card at the end of 2024 on TF1 and everywhere in Europe.

The bet was not won in advance, but the three lively panthers, who in a flash, know how to leap without a noise, conquered the public of TF1! Live-action adaptation of Cat’s Eyes already prepares for his return. TF1 today announces that the shooting of the second season of the French version of the cult manga of Tsukasa Hōjōproduced by Big Band Story, will be launched next May. Camille Lou,, Constance Labbé And Claire Romain will be back to direct the cast.

Undisputed leader on Monday evening, at the end of 2024, the first season captivated an average of 5.3 million viewers, even reaching 6.7 million for its inaugural episode. Its impact on strategic targets is just as remarkable: best series of Monday since 2006 on the FRDA-50 (38 % of PDA) and 25-49 year olds (36 %), and absolute record since 2021 on 15-24 year olds (41 %).

The enthusiasm exceeds borders: the series Cat’s Eyes From TF1 was praised internationally by winning, last December, the Unifrance of Audiovisual Export Prize. Distributed by Newn Connect, it has already attracted 32 countries, including Switzerland, Belgium and Italy.

This season 2 of Cat’s Eyes does not yet have a broadcast date but could arrive at the end of the year on TF1.
