Ceremony of Lights 2026: the coronation of François Ozon
The Stranger, adapted from Albert Camus, won the Best Film Prize. Benjamin Voisin is crowned Best Actor.
These are a bit Golden Globes of French cinema: the 31st Lumières ceremony – organized by the Académie des Lumières, which brings together international press correspondents from 38 countries – took place yesterday evening at the Arab World Institute in Paris. And she crowned François Ozon and The Strangercrowned Best Film, succeeding in the prize list to Emilia Pérez. Benjamin Voisin left with the Best Actor trophy.
