César 2026: here is the list of 32 revelations of French cinema

16 actresses and 16 actors who emerged in 2025.

The Caesar season is well underway. After announcing the Honorary César to Jim Carrey, and revealing the identity of the master of ceremonies (Benjamin Lavernhe) and the president (Camille Cottin), the Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques revealed last night the names of the 32 2026 revelations.

16 actresses and 16 actors were distinguished by the Revelations committee of the Académie des César, made up of 14 directors and casting directors. This is a list sent for information purposes to all members of the Academy.

Voters will be able to choose an actress or actor not appearing there for the Césars for Most Promising Female and Best Promising Male, won last year by Maïwène Barthelemy (Twenty Gods) and Abou Sangaré (The Story of Souleymane).

As tradition dictates, a renowned filmmaker was chosen to make a short film with this emerging French cinema. This year it will be Bertrand Bonello. The film will be shown on January 19 during the Soirée des Révélations.

The 2026 César ceremony will take place on February 27, in Paris, and will be broadcast live and unencrypted on Canal Plus.
