Cloverfied 2: Will the suite end up leaving 20 years after?
Director Babak Anvar has been giving good news to a project that has appeared in limbo for a while.
Of course, there was 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) and The Cloverfield Paradox (2018), two spin-offs which followed the events of the excellent Cloverfied Released in 2008. But the film directed by Matt Reeves, on a script by Drew Goddard, has never really had a direct follow -up.
Today, the British-Iranian director Babak Anvari Confirms that the idea that has been circulating in Hollywood for a few years is not abandoned. It is in active development at Paramount Pictures. Without revealing details, he explains:
“You know, everyone in the team is very secret, and it’s normal … but whatever happens, know that you will see something incredible!”
Anvari is attached to the realization of the project Cloverfied 2 Since 2022, with Joe Barton in writing the script. According to him, the rest should therefore materialize well and turn soon. In latest news, the format of the “Found Footage” of the first film was to give way to a more classic staging for a film of monsters. Remember that JJ Abrams must be producer.
