David Fincher launches the cast of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 2

The first two recruits that will join Brad Pitt have just been announced.

Released in July 2019 in the United States, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood of Quentin Tarantino had marked the spirits with his trio of stars: Leonardo DiCAPRI In Rick Dalton, Brad Pitt In Cliff Booth and Margot Robbie In Sharon Tate. A film tribute to the Hollywood of the late 1960s, between reinvented reality and cinephile flamboyance.

And against all odds, a suite is indeed in preparation. It is David Fincher Who will take the reins for Netflix, with a filming planned this summer in California. The project, still very mysterious, should this time refocus on the character of Cliff Booth, embodied by Brad Pitt – The only name officially confirmed for the moment in the casting.

According to The Hollywood Reportertwo first names have just added to the distribution: Elizabeth Debicki And Scott Caan.

Debicki is well known to the public for her interpretation of Princess Diana in The Crown On Netflix during the last two seasons. We also saw her in films like Gatsby the Magnificent (2013), Tenet (2020) and more recently Maxxxine (2024).

Scott Caanhe is best known for his role as Danny “Danno” Williams in the series Hawaii Five-0. He was also part of the Malloy brothers’ trio in the trilogy Ocean’s by Steven Soderbergh, alongside Brad Pitt.

For the moment, no details have filtered on their characters.

Few elements have been revealed on the intrigue of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 2. We only know that she was born from a scenario originally written by Tarantino, which he initially intended to realize himself, before putting it aside. It is Brad Pitt Who would have convinced the director to allow to get fucked. The agreement would have been sealed earlier this year, and development has accelerated since.
