Denzel Washington finds Spike Lee: Highest 2 Lowest trailer
His New York remake of Akira Kurosawa’s thriller is revealed before landing on the Croisette.

Twenty years later Inside Man,, Spike Lee And Denzel Washington Reform their legendary duo for a fourth common film: Highest 2 Lowest. Produced by the independent studio A24, the feature film promises to be electric, as a stylish and nervous trailer has just been revealed (see below).
The film will also mark the comeback of Spike Lee On the Croisette. Seven years later Blackkklansmanpresented in official competition in Cannes in 2018, the New York filmmaker returns this time out of competition with what promises to be an urban thriller with an enticing cast: Jeffrey Wright,, Ilfene Hadera And A $ AP Rocky properly Denzel Washington.
Highest 2 Lowest is a remake in the English language of the thriller ofAkira Kurosawa titled Between heaven and hell (High and low) Released in 1963 with Toshiro Mifune. It was already based on Ed McBain’s novel “King’s Ransom”, which tells the ruin of a businessman following the payment of a ravisseurs ransom.
No release date has yet been announced for the rooms, but the hype is there. The film could be to see in streaming on the Appletv+ platform in France.
